Azimut 42 engines running from cold start
Entering Cowes harbour 2024
The Azimut 42 is an iconic, highly popular design from the renowned Italian yard, featuring a twin cabin layout both with ensuite bathrooms and finished throughout in beautiful light walnut with cream and powder blue upholstery, making it an extremely bright, luxurious and modern looking fast crusier.
Perfect for entertaining, the large open style flybridge provides plenty of space for eight people to sit and lounge about in comfort.
The dual steel and glass access doors, robust integrated steel fairleads and chunky mooring wharfs attest to the high quality build to be found throughout this vessel.
She has been used exclusively in a private capacity since new and operated in and around the Solent since 2015.

Owners Comments & Overview
Catch 22 has been very well looked after and benefitted from new upholstery, carpets deck sunpads and new cockpit covers in 2021.
The Evolution variant of the Azimut 42 was introduced in 2003 and includes many enhancements, most notably the external mirror finish windows, which really do look striking.
She is fitted with the swept back s/steel radar mount, the incredibly useful Besenzoni hydraulic extendable pasarelle (350 lbs lifting capacity) and, mercifully, reverse cycle air con.
Historic service and maintenance records date back to 2014, with owner history back to the initial purchase. The original hard back 2006 owners manual is also available with numerous instruction manuals for the various systems and equipment.
The mechanical Cat engines are the last and improved model of the 31 generation. They are surprisingly quiet, solid workhorses and are in excellent condition.
They are quick to get the boat up on the plane and, married to the very capable Michael Peters designed modified deep vee hull, ensure comfortable crusing even in more challenging conditions. And from the flybridge these engines produce surprisingly little noise.
Handling the boat solo is easy in most conditions with the aid of the handheld remote bow and stern thruster controller.
With just 890 hours since new, and having just been comprehensively serviced, the twin Cats will require only standard annual servicing/oil and filter changes for the foreseeable future.
Motivated seller, buying larger boat.
